As 2012 president of the Home Builders Association of the Grand Traverse Area, Inc. I encourage you to acquaint yourself with our web site which lists hundreds of local, licensed industry professionals. Our HBA members are well trained, well educated, and provide exceptional guidance, quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service.

A goal of our professional trade association is to be your trusted resource for all aspects of the building industry, from concept and design to real estate, or from financing and lending to construction.  We can provide guidance in finding quality people, products and services to bring your project to successful completion. We want the Home Builders Association of the Grand Traverse Area, Inc. to be your first call before you begin any construction, remodeling or home improvement project.

We strive to educate our members about the latest practices, systems, building science, and construction techniques. We are affiliated with the Michigan Association of Home Builders, as well as the National Association of Home Builders, and take full advantage of their support, resources, benefits, and programs.

To help showcase the range of products and services that our members provide, we host three premier community events each year.  These include the Home EXPO in late February, the Parade of Homes & Developments in mid June, and the Showcase of Remodeled Homes in early October. Each of these events is well attended and provides our members with opportunities to display their skills and talents to the community.
