The 2007 Parade of Homes and Developments participants gathered at Boones Long Lake Inn in Traverse City, Michigan on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 to celebrate the conclusion of this year's Parade. The 2007 Parade, which included 36 homes and 2 developments, covered the widest geographical area in the history of the Home Builders Association of the Grand Traverse Area. The highlights of the evening included the presentation of the "People's Choice" Awards which are awarded based on the votes of the public attending the event.
This year's "People's Choice" winners were MAC Custom Homes for 2 categories: homes above 2,875 square feet and homes below 2,875 square feet. The multi-family home People's Choice award winner was B. Mohr Contracting, LLC and the People's Choice Development was awarded to Stone Ridge Lakeviews, LLC.
Judge's Choice and Overall Home awards were presented to DesignCraft Homes by Duensing Construction for homes below 2,875 square feet, Brad Wheeler Architecture & Construction, Inc. for homes above 2,875 square feet, and Crain Hill, LLC for multi-family homes. The Judge's Choice and Overall Home Award is presented to participants based on independent judge's voting.
